Editorial methodology and corrections policy

How I prepare, review, update and correct nutrition content published on this website.

Editorial responsibility: Natalia Corvo. Last updated: 26.07.2026.

Purpose of the content

I publish material intended to help readers understand a topic, prepare questions for a consultation and make more informed decisions. Articles are not intended to diagnose, prescribe treatment or replace individual care.

Source hierarchy

  1. Current guidance and information from public and professional bodies.
  2. Systematic reviews, meta-analyses and recognised clinical guidelines.
  3. Primary research when stronger summaries are unavailable, with limitations stated.
  4. Lower-level educational material only as context, not as the basis for important claims.

Pre-publication process

  1. I define the audience, question and boundaries of the article.
  2. I check claims against current sources and record the access date.
  3. I separate general information from situations requiring medical advice.
  4. I review the complete Polish text, English translation, metadata and image.
  5. Only after approval do I remove noindex and add the article to the sitemap.

Supporting tools

Automated tools may support structure research, note organisation, language editing or translation. They do not replace my responsibility for the final text. Automatically prepared content remains a draft and is not published without review.

Updates and corrections

I update content when important guidance changes, material new evidence appears or information may mislead. A substantive correction receives a new update date and a short explanation. Typographical and editorial changes may be made without a separate notice.
